hello family, friends, and colleagues! welcome to the first post on my blog describing my september 2007 STOP (stop transmission of polio) mission, during which i will be posted in the philippines!
please watch this space over the next few months as i recount the training sessions in hotlanta in september, my arrival in manila on september 24 (followed closely by hilarious misadventures as i overcome my culture shock, i'm sure), the work during my 3 month contract, and my 1 blissful month of traveling the south pacific afterwards. all with pictures, of course!
